Damien Leroy
Originally from Vail, Colorado, Damien grew up alpine skiing and ski racing. He qualified for the Junior Olympics six years in a row as well as team Montana, team Colorado and the all-star team. His introduction to Kiteboarding came as a result of a ski racing injury. One summer during rehab at Mt. Hood his parents drove him to the Gorge to see kiteboarding for the first time. He was immediately interested. The LeRoys have a phrase on the fridge, "Quitters never win and winners never quit". Winning his first tournament in Hatteras, he became a Kite junkie moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. Training with Andy Hurdman. he competed in a Red Bull King Of The Air Qualifier in Texas and was hooked for life. |

Jerry Hartung
Has been involved in shaping and making boards for over 20 years. From surfing to windsurfing to kiteboarding, he has been involved in the evolution of boards for windsports. He now heads up the Zero Gravity Kiteboard R&D development. He is responsible for developing the unique process which is used to produce the Zero Gravity Kiteboard as well as designing the 130 and co-designing the 137 with Vytas Cijunelis. |

Maggie Hartung
Began windsurfing in 1992 while working for Gulftech (carbon booms) in Corpus Christi. Switched to kiting in 2000/2001 but after the loss of her dear friend, Peter Nordby in Nov '02, she put kiting away for awhile. Gave it another chance in 2005 and won second place in the Red Bull King of the Air contest in the summer of 2005. She and husband Jerry spend as much free time as possible riding together in one of the best kiting locations, Corpus Christi Texas. |

Robert Henderson
Robert Henderson is the chief board builder for Zero Gravity today. He regularly tests the board shapes for their handling and flexibility in choppy, flat, or surfing conditions. West Hansen
Began windsurfing in Texas during 1985. After sailing the "nuclear" winds of the Gorge,moved to Hawaii, and then sailed the waves of Maui.
He turning in his sail for a kite in 2001 and has been flying ever since. Presently kiting in the Chicago area and making trips back to Corpus Christi to help build kiteboards, "if its blowing, I'm going!!" |

Vytas Cijunelis
aka "V", has been surfing since 1985 and kitesurfing since 2001. He has been one of the leading negotiators with the City of Chicago to get kitesurfing organized and bans lifted. Founder of Chicago Kitesurfing and an experienced web developer, V has been acting as webmaster for Zero Gravity as well. Helped design the 137 shape using CAD CAM software with Jerry, and is out riding in Chicago whenever he can. | |
